Advisor Education is a Key Focus of AMG Sales Strategy

KORE Graduates Honored at Travel Market 2022

 

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 28, 2022): American Marketing Group (AMG) continues to emphasize the importance of advisor education at its recent Travel Market 2022 conference at Resorts World Las Vegas. “This event had opportunities to enrich our advisors and add to their knowledge of our preferred partners’ products, AMG’s services, best practices, selling skills and more,” said Kathryn Mazza-Burney, Chief Sales Officer. “Education is key to the integrity of this industry. Our team is focused on educating new advisors, continuing to enrich our existing affiliates and to recruit and educate new prospects to the industry.”           

KORE Graduates Recognized

Launched in November 2021, KORE is AMG’s comprehensive training program designed to educate new talent to the industry, fully train them and set them on the path to become successful Travel Advisors. Our first graduating class of KORE was recognized and celebrated at the Gala Awards dinner at Travel Market.

“I’m so glad I took the time and invested in my education with KORE,” said Bridget Merritt, from TravelSalesGroup in Charlotte, NC. “It provided me with great practical knowledge, as well as the ability to apply that knowledge, which fed my passion for the travel industry and allowed me to jumpstart my career. In less than one year, I am reaching goals and milestones I never thought possible! KORE has equipped me with opportunities to take full advantage of their education, and for that, I’m exceedingly grateful.”

“This important educational platform provides new entrants to the industry with all the tools they need to succeed in their new career in travel. We are so proud of our graduates and the amazing work they are already doing, not just for their agencies, but for the industry at large,” said Steve Phillips, Senior Director of Education and Training. “The travel industry is growing again and currently its growth is outpacing current staffing levels. KORE was designed to solve that dilemma. By actively recruiting new talent into our industry, training, and offering them placement within our membership, we not only help fill the staffing needs of those agencies, but we are rebuilding the foundation that our industry is built upon.”

Business Analysts Dedicated 100% to Training

At AMG, service is at the core of each Business Analyst (BA) as they devote all their time to consulting and training advisors. “Our BAs function as personal business consultants and every contact with our affiliates is intended to enhance their business,” said Mazza-Burney. “No time was more prevalent for support than during the pandemic. We worked hard to ensure our BAs were on hand to assist in whatever they needed. This steadfast support actually led to an increase in our membership during this time.” 

Extensive Range of Educational Products and Tools

In addition to the BA’s time, AMG has robust training options from virtual to live events as well as added resources on the agent extranet. In the past year, AMG has conducted more than 5,000 hours of live sessions, which are recorded and saved on the extranet. Advisors can listen to suppliers’ webinars, AMG’s products and services and get details on all preferred partners who have specialist courses. In 2023, several live networking events are planned to include Lunch & Learns, Owners Focus Retreat, Elite Retreat of top producers, and The Affluent Traveler Collection Symposium. The AMG global Travel Market conference will convene again in 2024.
